About Waldorf Astoria Washington DC

1100 Pennsylvania Avenue NW, Washington, DC 20004

Waldorf Astoria Washington DC is where meetings shape the world. Located at the heart of the city and steps away from America’s most important landmarks, discover 38,000 square feet of spectacular venues with exceptional capabilities and flawless service for gatherings of three to 1,300.

The Ballroom:

The 13,200 sq. ft., column-free Ballroom can accommodate up to 1,300 guests for a standing reception. Enjoy a separate entrance on 11th Street for direct access to the ballroom as well as nine event rooms conveniently located on the floor above.

The Lincoln Library:

Originally used as the meeting room for Washington, D.C.’s Postal Headquarters, the Lincoln Library has retained the original woodwork, carved plaster-crown molding, and windows of the Old Post Office. The light-filled room features bookcases with literature on Abraham Lincoln in addition to a number of different works of art depicting various stages of the President’s life.

Franklin Study:

Comparable in size to the Lincoln Library, the Franklin Study offers direct access to the outdoor Benjamin Terrace and ground views of Pennsylvania Avenue including the famous statue of Benjamin Franklin, the first U.S. Postmaster General. Reflecting this founding father’s love of nature, the Franklin Study showcases a gallery wall of cherry blossom art, D.C.’s signature flora.
