About Courtney Lee Photography

I am a wedding and editorial photographer based in the midwestern United States. I've been in visual arts, starting with a passion for filmmaking, since 2012, and have been photographing weddings since 2015. My love for imagery stems from the ways in which I am moved by imagery. I am a nostalgic, and sentimental person who believes in the importance of being in the moment and running away with that as best we all can. Documenting weddings has given me the unique opportunity to help others be present on an incredibly special day in their lives, while I simultaneously delve into the nuances of the passing moments- capturing the tenderness of it all, and helping guide us through the flow of it all. I feel immensely fortunate to do what I do, and I'm enthusiastic about the beauty in human connection, and celebrations of our joy and love.
