Darien (she/her) is a Nashville based wedding photographer, with 20+ years of experience, for the down to earth sophisticated couples who value photography as the visual legacy of their love. Bilingual in Spanish<>English. She was born and raised in Mexico City. Her work is inspired by classic beauty, effortless elegance, art, people of different cultures, architecture, and travel. Also influenced by the romantic monochrome look of the black and white cinematography by Gabriel Figueroa and Woody Allen, as well as the marvelous use of color on Almodovar’s films. Her wedding photography style is classic, refined, and natural, evoking the look of film on her digital files, while still using some 35mm and 120mm film in the mix. Darien specializes in combining documentary photography with effortless editorial portraits. Capturing the love connection and joyful moments of the wedding day with timeless, heartfelt imagery; to be enjoyed today and cherished for generations to come.
