I am a Wedding and Romance photographer, based in Paris, FranceI have had a camera in my hand since my photographer Granddad placed a Polaroid in it when I was about 8 years old.Since then I have documented life as I see it; travelling the world, meeting and photographing people and places on the way. I originally trained as a chef, rightly figuring that I could work my way around the world whilst learning my craft and honing my photography skills from the heart - working with masters rather than attend an institution. Nowadays, this knowledge and wealth of experience gained has enabled me to devote my whole life to my passion. I currently split my time between the beautiful city of Paris, where I now call home, the picturesque villages of the French Alps, my family origins in the beautiful English countryside and the long hot summers of Bourgogne, often travelling in style onboard the luxurious 'Péniche Hôtels' of the French Waterways. I shoot using light and shadow with an artistic, natural and unique photo journalistic flair. Shooting people in a natural way; I have a rustic candid style that is inspired by the beauty of imperfection and the search for elegance amongst all the chaos.

Originaire d’Angleterre, je suis arrivé en France en 2002 et suis aujourd’hui basé à Paris où je suis photographe de mariage et de romance. Je vis un appareil photo à la main depuis que mon grand-père, également photographe, y a placé un Polaroïd lorsque j'avais 8 ans. Je documente depuis ce jour la vie telle que je la vois, au gré de mes voyages à travers le monde.
J’ai commencé ma carrière comme chef cuisinier et ai en parallèle perfectionné mes compétences en photographie sur le tas, me nourrissant des conseils de professionnels rencontrés au fil du temps. C’est grâce à cette expérience que je peux aujourd’hui consacrer ma vie à ma passion.
Je partage actuellement mon temps entre Paris, où je vis, la campagne Anglaise, d’où je suis originaire, les plages de l’île de Ré et la Bourgogne et ses longs étés chauds, où j’ai longtemps travaillé comme head chef sur de luxueuses péniches hôtel.
J’utilise la lumière et l'ombre avec un flair artistique naturel et unique de photojournaliste. Mon style brut et candide me pousse à photographier les gens de manière ingénue, m’inspirant de la beauté de l’imperfection et de la recherche de l’élégance au sein du chaos.
