About Julia Emerald Hair Salon

I'm extremely proud to be the owner and a colorist at Julia Emerald Salon. Creating it has been a lifelong aspiration. Ive had the great fortune to spend the last 15 years working full-time in the industry, developing my proficiency as colorist and stylist, all with the goal of opening Julia Emerald. I began my career at 17 as an apprentice to one of New York's great industry stylists and entrepreneurs, Stuart Anderson of Anderson French and James Bentley Salons. Within a few years, I was splitting my time as a lead colorist in Westchester, and Manhattan's Upper West Side. After several years working in the Tri-State, I moved to the west coast to learn coloring techniques from the other great epicenter of hair styling in the US, Southern California. Working at south Orange County's International Hair Salon of Laguna Beach, and The Salon Diva of Newport Beach, my love for the industry grew, as well as my versatility as a colorist and stylist. After returning back to the northeast two years ago, I knew that my experience would perfectly compliment Greenwich's patronage. I was right, falling in love with the local scene, the styles, and with my wonderful clients. Nothing fills me with a sense of joy more than knowing that I hand a hand in helping to fill my clients with confidence and excitement after our time together. I feel so lucky that I get to know that joy in my daily life, and that I get to offer my skills in an area as unique and beautiful as Greenwich, Ct.
