About Noir Blanc Events

Hey there! My name is Talema, owner and lead planner at Noir Blanc Events. I live in Washington, DC with my film producer partner and 10 year-old daughter.

While I've spent 10+ years in the hospitality industry (5 of those years as a wedding venue coordinator), it wasn't until COVID hit that I rediscovered my love for weddings. I served as an associte planner helping other planners for some time and became a Certified Wedding Planner through the Certified Wedding Planner Society.  Then, in September 2021 my childhood bestie called me one evening and said she was getting married...in three months. And asked if I would plan the wedding. I'm sure you could imagine my expression on the other end of the phone, but I was up for the challenge. Of course, I said YES! And I planned a successful wedding in 90 days.

From there, Noir Blanc Events was born.

The Noir Blanc Events approach is hospitality-focused. I don't just want to plan your wedding or special event. I want to get to know who you are and what brings you joy, so that I can make the most important day of your life the most memorable day of your life.
