Rita Santana is a Portugal-based wedding photographer documenting celebrations across Lisbon, Setúbal, Comporta, the Alentejo and beyond.

Her work blends bold documentary photography with an editorial eye, creating images that feel honest, vibrant and deeply personal. Rather than directing every moment, Rita gives couples the space to actually experience their wedding while staying close enough to catch the fleeting gestures, wild dance floors, quiet glances and wonderfully imperfect moments that make the day theirs.

With over a decade of experience and more than 150 weddings photographed, Rita brings a calm, intuitive presence to the day. She believes great wedding photography is less about following a formula and more about paying attention: to people, light, movement, atmosphere and everything happening between the big moments.

Her approach is relaxed and unobtrusive, with gentle guidance when needed and plenty of room for couples to be themselves. The result is a collection of photographs that feels both beautifully considered and unmistakably real.
