Hi, I'm John Summerfield. I've spent more than a decade filming weddings across Toronto, the GTA, Niagara, and beyond - quietly observing how days unfold when they're allowed to breathe.

I'm known for being a warm, calm, steady presence - someone who pays attention, listens closely, and creates space for moments to unfold naturally. On a day that can move quickly and feel overwhelming, there's real value in having someone there who is grounded, observant, and fully present.

My role isn't to direct your day or turn it into a performance. It's to be present, attentive, and unobtrusive, so you can stay fully immersed in your wedding, knowing that what matters most to you is being carefully preserved. Couples often tell me they forgot the camera was even there. That's exactly the point.

I make films because I want couples to feel their day again and again — to relive the warmth, the connection, and the real moments that make their story unmistakably theirs. Every film I create is shaped by the people, the relationships, and the trust I'm given.

Today, I work with a limited number of couples each year, so I can stay fully invested in every story I tell, giving each film the time, care, artistry, and intention it deserves.
