Rev. Alberto “Al” Martinez is a true believer in marriage. Family first, family always mindset. His love story began at 13 years old and has blossomed into a beautiful 32-year journey together. He’s been married for 26 incredible years, and feels incredibly fortunate to witness his love story continue to unfold. This deep connection is why he believes a wedding ceremony should be a heartfelt reflection of a couple's unique love story. It's a chance to celebrate the journey that brought them together and the exciting chapter they're about to embark on.

Rev. Al has a desire to surround himself with love and the energy of love. Being a part of significant love moments is an honor and gift for him. He wants nothing else but to be a part of your love story and share the beginning of your marriage chapter. As your wedding officiant, he is ready to listen and help you develop the story to honor your love. He will work with you to create a ceremony that speaks truth to your extraordinary love, binds you to each other, and delivers happiness and love to your family in that special moment.

Originally from Houston, Texas, Rev. Al is an active-duty military member who has served 23 years in the United States Navy. He has lived in Japan, Bahrain, Guam, and various locations in the United States, and he now resides in the District of Columbia. He obtained his Master of Science in Human Development and Family Sciences from Texas Tech University and is pursuing his Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy from Liberty University.

Rev. Al is a bilingual (Spanish) wedding officiant who honors all religious, spiritual, and nonspiritual backgrounds and encourages marriage equality. He is ready to preside over your wedding dreams!
