About Visionary Weddings

Visionary Weddings is an award winning, fine art wedding film studio owned by Ethan Calvin. Since 2014 he has captured and memorialized more than 200 weddings throughout Canada and the US. Ethan resides in Edmonton, Alberta and regularly shoots in Edmonton, Calgary, and the Canadian Rockies. Although Edmonton is home, he loves traveling and capturing love stories in different and unique places.

Visionary Weddings believes in wedding films that focus on quality over quantity when telling your love story, crafting it with expertly captured audio and video to make something truly one-of-a-kind and unique to every couple. The goal is to make wedding films that are timeless, authentic, and cinematic, and that won’t feel outdated in 10, 30, or 50 years. 

Etan's goal is to capture not only the physical things, but also capture the emotions and connection that you share with your partner. Sometimes words aren’t enough to convey the love that you have for your new life partner, and Visionary Weddings loves to capture what words alone can’t say.
