About Lougheed House
Planning a garden wedding, or looking for an accessible location with a stunning backdrop? Lougheed House is the perfect place to host your small wedding. Our location features a Victorian dining room and conservatory, Mission room, and drawing room. Dance the night away in our ballroom and pose for photos on our sprawling wooden staircases. In the summer, the Beaulieu gardens that surround the house are maintained beautifully and are bursting with colour. We have in-house catering and a list of trusted vendors that we'd love to share with you!
Lougheed House is a historic sandstone mansion built in 1891, in what would become Calgary’s Beltline neighborhood. The house and its large formal gardens were restored in the late 1990s and Lougheed House opened to the public in 2005. Today, it is home to a museum and exhibition space and is an ideal venue for a small wedding nestled in the heart of downtown Calgary.
