About Dolce Vita Weddings

Dolce vIta Weddings has been planning weddings since 2005, specialising in destination weddings of foreign couples wishing to get married in Rome. All sorts of weddings are planned from elopements to large-scale events; symbolic, religious (mainly Catholic) and civil ceremonies; proper wedding receptions or simpler wedding meals.

Born in Rome, after graduating as an English translator and working and living abroad, in particular the UK and the US, I decided to settle back in my hometown, where I started planning weddings exclusively for foreign couples and not Italian ones, because well…it just seemed to fit perfectly with my love for foreign languages and cultures, my local knowledge of the Eternal City and my self-organising and planning attitude. I do not offer packages, but prefer using a personal approach to create tailor-made events, so I only take up a few weddings a year, which I can personally plan, with the priceless help of my assistants and wonderful, trustworthy vendors.

My experience comes from working in the industry for so many years and learning something new from anyone, suppliers and couples, at each wedding.
