Hi, there, I'm Liz Craig, an award winning, Toronto-based pianist with a passion for making every event special through live music. I have performed custom tailored live music on the piano for over 600 weddings and events since 2012. I am the proud recipient of over 180 5 star reviews across WeddingWire & Google making me one of the highest rated musicians in the GTA. While classically trained, I perform a wide variety of styles of music including my own arrangements of jazz and the newest popular songs. I love using my music to help others celebrate important moments! Besides performing regularly, I have been teaching piano and music theory lessons since 2006. I provide a student-centered curriculum which focuses on developing musical literacy from beginning to advanced levels. I also have experience adjudicating at ten different musical festivals and am a past member of both the Canadian Music Festival Adjudicators’ Association and the RCM College of Examiners. I am quite active with my local Ontario Registered Music Teachers Association where I serve as Past President & Secretary of the Central Toronto Branch.
In my formative years, I had the privilege of studying with Juilliard alumnus Dr. David Moroz at the University of Manitoba where I graduated with a Bachelor of Music degree in Piano Performance. I also hold ARCT Diplomas in both Piano Performance and Pedagogy.
