Clara has a super clear process and pricing which I really appreciated. There’s a wonderful questionnaire that helps you and Raw Studio prioritize the kind of photos you want e.g. ceremony / getting ready / party / dinner. No part of our wedding day was left out, but this was our chance to make clear that I didn’t want to emphasize the “getting ready” part or dinner time but did want lots of photos of friends at cocktail and the family.

I really don’t consider myself photogenic at all and was actually dreading taking photos. I loved every single one. We got our photos SO FAST and our family and friends have been gushing non-stop about how they belong in a magazine/wedding mood board. Clara made us feel so relaxed and so much ourselves that day. I look at these photos and think, “I can’t wait to show these to my kids/grandkids one day.” Another plus is you get two digital albums, one for you and one for everyone else, so you can control what’s released and (hopefully!) not a hundred texts asking for the photo access. ;)

Clara brought her own vision and direction to the day and also incorporated some of my inspo that I wanted to recreate in shots. She had worked at the venue before and had familiarity with it yet it didn’t feel like she was just duplicating the same shot she had done with many other couples. Clara captures the movement, joy, and small moments that would otherwise slip away from memory with her lens. Now I have those forever.
