I'm a husband. A dad. A story teller.
I'm a gardener. An eater. An artisan.

To me, the camera is a tool to connect with people. I've been fortunate to have my camera connect me with clients all over the world, and many of the best wedding vendors in the world. My goal is to make the camera disappear and make you and your story pop from every image.

I have been photographing weddings for 12+ years, and have photographed over 400 weddings of all different kinds all over the world in that time. I love the energy, the emotion, and --honestly-- the pressure of being a wedding photographer. I love being in charge of capturing couples' best days!

My work is fine-art based, but I have honed a keen observational eye and rarely miss little moments. My approach on the day is to make the day better for everyone involved. Couples, their families, and their wedding parties end up spending A LOT of time w/ the photographer, so I make it a point to become a positive, fun part of the day. I have been called a bearded bridesmaid, and I think that may be the highest compliment I have ever received. I direct and work diligently to capture everything we want and need, but I am always joyful and respectful while doing so.

I only have 4 rules for photography:

1. DON'T DIE
I kid, but I never put clients in uncomfortable, unnecessary, or unsafe situations.

2. TIME TRAVEL
I make photos that reach through time and space to put you back in the moments from your day.

3. LET'S TALK
I am always communicating, and make my clients to feel comfortable telling me what they want and need.

4. HAVE FUN
You, me, and everyone at your wedding will have a great time doing photos. I promise.
