About Sara D’Ambra Photo & Video Studio

Sara D’Ambra is an Italian wedding photographer with over 15 years of experience and more than 500 weddings captured. Based between Milan and a charming coastal village, she collaborates closely with her partner Matteo—videographer and drone operator—to deliver cohesive, cinematic storytelling with a fine-art aesthetic.  

With a background in design, Sara brings an innate eye for detail and visual balance, coupled with an empathetic approach that puts couples—and their guests—instantly at ease. 

She specializes in destination weddings across Italy—Lake Como, Tuscany, Umbria, Marche, Puglia and beyond—and has also worked internationally in Spain, Greece, England, and Australia.  

Her photographic style is natural and emotive, grounded in authentic moments and light-inspired editing. Together with Matteo, she offers a discreet presence and complementary drone footage and wedding content creation.  

Sara’s work has been featured in international blogs and magazines including Style Me Pretty, La Lista, Wedding Chicks, Ruffled, Love & Lavender, 100 Layer Cake, and WedVibes. She has also exhibited travel photography in multiple Italian locations.
