About The Lemon Céilí Co.

We are two sisters who grew up playing and performing traditional Irish music together. We perform as a band of four, joined by our favourite callers and accompanists from the London traditional music scene.

Our music is lively and intricate. We play traditional tunes with contemporary energy and vibrancy, demonstrating exceptional technical capability and a level of synchronicity achieved only through years of performing together as sisters.

Our focus is on inclusivity and fun. No prior céilí dancing experience is required or expected. Clear instruction is provided. We dance with no gendered roles.
