About Tory Williams Photography

Tory started photography in the editorial world, shooting still life for magazines such as Glamour and Vogue, and photojournalist stories for non-profits abroad. It was only natural she found her passion in wedding photography, which combines her documentary approach and sharp eye for detail. Her style is timeless and whimsical and her images are full of emotionÛ you can't help but smile, laugh or cry when looking through them. As one couple said, 'Tory was able to capture the memory of every moment. Each picture tells a story. We couldn't have asked for more. ' (Marie & Scott) Tory graduated from Skidmore College where she studied Studio Art and French. While at Skidmore Tory lived in Paris for a year working as an apprentice and developed her love of photography. Post-graduation Tory moved to New York City and studied at the International Center of Photography and the School of Visual Arts. She photographed her first wedding in 2005 using her favorite vintage film camera, Rolleiflex TLR 2. 8. In 2012 she was named as one of the Top 30 Wedding Photographers in the country by Rangefinder Magazine. Tory is based in New York City and photographs weddings across the country and internationally.
