Liza Lubell's Brooklyn-based floral studio was named for her mother, whose maiden name translates to pear tree. Though she has served clients in New York City and Sag Harbor for nearly five years (and helmed her own business for ten), she often finds herself happily uprooted Ò traveling the world, from Portland to Paris, Costa Rica to the Catskills. Her journeys have helped her hone a layered aesthetic that's soft and understated without sacrificing whimsy or romance. They've also informed a key component of the Peartree philosophy: that beauty is everywhere, ripe for the picking (and pruning, and clipping, and arranging). Since its launch in 2011, Peartree has been featured in Martha Stewart Weddings, which named Liza as one of the top florists in the country in 2015, as well as Dwell, The Knot, Brides, and blogs like Design*Sponge, Style Me Pretty, and Hither & Thither. Liza's services include weddings, private and corporate events, residences, and editorials Û and, of course, she's always happy to travel.
